Justice David Nolan has approved the appointment of Andrew O’Leary and Kieran Wallace of Interpath as joint liquidators tasked with winding-up Steelworks Investment Ltd, a company controlled by US investor and disbarred former trader Jeff Leo. Leo had objected to the appointment of Wallace and sought to appoint James Anderson of Deloitte instead alongside O’Leary. Cabriz Finance, which is not a creditor of Steelworks but is a lender to a subsidiary company, had supported this objection in the High Court but later withdrew it.
