Cool Cat Plant Services, an excavation and demolition contractor based in Swords, Co Dublin, has acquired Tank Environmental and two underlying companies from Emmet O’Neill and Matt Ryan. The deal adds Tank Environmental’s 30 staff, who address customers’ blocked or damaged drains and dispose of their sewage, to Cool Cat’s 120-strong workforce. “The two businesses are in the waste industry, there can be a lot of synergies,” Cool Cat’s owner and managing director Pat Hughes told The Currency.
