An interim examiner has been appointed to Arena Capital Partners, a major wind and solar energy business that has raised over €100 million from over 1,500 Irish investors. The business, which petitioned the High Court on Friday for protection from its creditors, also has an affordable residential property portfolio leased to local authorities. Around 1,585 individuals have directly or indirectly subscribed for loan notes. The company’s loan-note indebtedness was €111.6 million as at June 2025, including principal and interest, of which €12.4 million is currently due and owing.
