Storm clouds stayed away on the final day of the Ploughing this year, and in more ways than one. The Currency arrived at the National Ploughing Championships on Thursday, well equipped with wet-weather gear, and ready to hear about the negative impact that Trump, inflation, the nitrates derogation and the impending Mercosur trade deal were having or going to have on Irish farmers.
