A total of 40 former ministers, as well as 34 current ministers and senior officials, are affected by the National Shared Services Office (NSSO) pension payments blunder, released internal records show. NSSO is the largest shared services provider in the public sector. It pays salaries and pensions to 164,000 people, including 76,623 retirees, valued at €7.2 billion in 2024.
