Flexjet, the world’s second-largest private-jet operator, is pursuing certification in Ireland as it plans to base a fleet of aircraft and operations in Dublin. The US-headquartered private-jet firm operates a fleet of 300 aircraft, including Gulfstreams. The company raised $800 million from LVMH-backed private equity firm L Catterton earlier this year at a valuation of around $4 billion. “Flexjet has recently established an air operator certificate (AOC) in the Republic of Ireland, as we continue our global expansion. The Irish operation will include a fleet registered in the country, alongside a Dublin-based operations team,” a spokesperson for the company said.…
