Eamon Waters, the waste and recycling entrepreneur, has eyes on a second new tourist hostel in the heart of the capital to add to his growing accommodation offerings in Dublin. Planning files lodged with Dublin City Council this week show that Balrath Investments Unlimited has applied to change the use of 1-4 Camden Street Lower, which currently houses a gym and a Fresh supermarket, to a 463-bed tourist hostel. Balrath Investments is one of dozens of property vehicles run by Waters through his Sretaw family office as he reinvest proceeds from the €1.2 billion sale of the Beauparc waste business. …
