Plans for an ambitious decade-old plan to build a fuel pipeline from Dublin Port’s oil terminal to Dublin Airport appear to have faltered with the Eamon Waters-backed development company behind the project set to shut down. The company, Aeropipeline Limited, applied for voluntary strike-off on October 6 this year. As Thomas previously explored, it was set up by Waters, the waste and energy entrepreneur, in April 2023 with a view to potentially backing the pipeline project.
