Revenue at the Irish arm of Dutch chip firm ASML has swelled to over €1.2 billion as demand for chips and geopolitical tensions grow around the technology. ASML builds highly in-demand printing machines for designing the most sophisticated semiconductors. Its extreme ultraviolet (EUV) lithography machines are unique in the market, which has placed it at the centre of the industry.
