European Commissioner for justice Michael McGrath is seeking a deeper role in the policing of Chinese e-commerce platforms. The Irish Commissioner, who is responsible for justice and consumer protection, will propose changes to EU rules that would grant the EU executive greater investigative and enforcement powers on product and consumer safety.
