Educational publisher CJ Fallon invested around €2 million in producing works by a children’s author who is currently in a legal wrangle with the company over royalties, it is alleged. The publisher of school textbooks also spent over €110,000 marketing Fiona Holmes’ Wonderland series and has “sole and exclusive worldwide rights” to the works, it is claimed in defence filings.
