A company director in a Co Cork company that sells DAF-branded trucks has succeeded in preventing his fellow shareholders from removing him from the firm’s board pending the conclusion of ongoing “hard-fought” oppression proceedings. The action to prevent his removal as a director was taken by Patrick Ferriter, a director of DAF Truck Services (Cork) Ltd for 40 years and a 30 per cent shareholder in the business.
