Revenue is carrying out a detailed review of the accounts of the Department of Agriculture to determine Vat and PAYE liabilities owed between 2021 and 2024.    The department made a prompted disclosure last year in relation to Vat owed for 2022 after being notified by Revenue that it had identified a liability following an examination of its returns.
