The battle was over before it even started.  Late Friday afternoon, Uisce Éireann released a statement confirming a settlement was reached to avert the upcoming judicial review challenge of the €1.3 billion Greater Dublin Drainage project, set to kick off in the High Court on Monday.  The Currency can now reveal the concessions made by state agencies to lift the legal block.
