The Minister for Transport, Darragh O’Brien, is meeting the Attorney General, Rossa Fanning, this week to discuss options for lifting the passenger cap at Dublin Airport. The move follows an interview with The Irish Times on Monday in which O’Brien described the limit as “arbitrary,” while noting that it continues to be supported by senior civil servants in certain parts of the system.
