An interim examiner was appointed to East Coast Bakehouse, the Drogheda-based biscuit manufacturer, late Wednesday evening. Barrister Stephen Brady, instructed by the law firm Dentons, made the application to appoint Kieran Wallace, an accountant with Interpath, as interim examiner after 5 pm on Wednesday.  Mr Justice Michael Quinn heard the application, which outlined why the business required the protection of the courts, before granting East Coast Bakehouse’s application.
