R3, the blockchain company backed by several major banks, is downsizing its Irish office after undergoing another pivot. Newly filed accounts for the company’s Irish office show it reduced its headcount from 54 to 40 in 2024 with more trimming to come. The filing further notes that in November 2025, R3 began a restructuring that will “result in a reduction in the scale of its Irish operation”.
