Disgraced solicitor Michael Lynn has engaged Darragh Mackin of Phoenix Law for his upcoming Supreme Court challenge against the severity of his five and a half year jail term for stealing around €18 million from banks. Lynn will argue that his Circuit Court sentence, approved by the Court of Appeal, did not give him due credit for the four and a half years he spent as a fugitive in Brazil in the notorious Cotel prison awaiting extradition to Ireland.
