The Business Post is close to appointing a new leader five months after its outgoing chief executive, Sarah Murphy, announced she was moving to the United States to pursue new opportunities. The Currency understands that the business media publisher is in advanced talks with a senior media executive with international experience. The Currency asked The Business Post if it was in talks with Mark Beard, the chief executive of Prospect Publishing.
