Despite the academic year winding down weeks earlier, the TU Dublin campus in Grangegorman was full of life on June 1, 2023 – but with suits rather than students. This included then-public expenditure minister Paschal Donohoe who, alongside TU Dublin president David FitzPatrick, cut the proverbial ribbon on two new major campus buildings.  The East Quad and Central Quad cost €220 million – mainly funded through the sale of part of the former DIT site on Aungier Street.
