Laing O’Rourke, the Irish-founded construction firm, has locked horns with one of the world’s biggest film and TV studios in a legal dispute over payments. The construction company, led by Ray O’Rourke and based in the UK, and Shepperton Studios, which is owned by the Pinewood Group, have filed lawsuits against each other in recent months over a disputed invoice understood to be worth more than £5 million (€5.8 million).
