The well-known Dublin 2 pub Ryan’s on Camden Street has been refused permission for a new drinks licence to extend the bar into an adjoining premise after “extensive” objections by the Gardaí. In a Circuit Court judgment this week, Judge John O’Connor said that Nitram Nayr Limited, trading as Ryan’s, 92 Lower Camden Street Dublin 2, was seeking a new publican’s licence, beyond their existing licence, to include a rear enclosed yard lane and outdoor bar in a covered area known as the “Abattoir” and part of what was formerly a number of buildings on Camden Row including an enclosed laneway.…
