Mitsubishi is acquiring a second Irish lift company as the Japanese multinational looks to double down on its European elevator sales and installation business. Infinity Lifts is an Ennis-based business in the installation and maintenance of elevators and escalators. The acquisition comes a year after Mitsubishi acquired Ascension Lifts. The Co Clare company is headed up by co-founder and chief executive Garech McGuinness, the majority shareholder, with family members and a handful of others making up the rest of the share register.
