The owners of the Omni shopping centre in north Dublin have launched a third High Court case against tenants since the start of the pandemic. Court records show that RMC Solicitors initiated proceedings on Tuesday against Nando’s Chickenland Ireland Ltd, the company operating the chain’s 12 restaurants in the Republic of Ireland. The Santry restaurant opened in 2015 in an extension of the Omni shopping centre and the Irish Times reported at the time that it had taken out a 20-year lease with an annual rent of €125,000.
