Before the coronavirus struck in mid-March, 2020 appeared to be shaping up well for the Leopardstown Inn, the landmark south Dublin bar often known simply as “The Lep Inn”. The Commercial Court heard today that business in January was up 5.6 per cent year on year. And while February was flat in terms of growth, the first week of March saw trade jump by 3 per cent on 2019. There were the European Championships to look forward to, new apartments were being built in the area and Microsoft had recently moved into their nearby head office. The prospects were promising.…
