Irish Distillers, the drinks company owned by French alcoholic beverages giant Pernod Ricard, is supporting a new campaign called Save Irish Pubs which aims to assist Ireland’s 7,400 pubs in determining if they have a claim under the insurance policies arising from the closure of their premises. McCann FitzGerald, one of Ireland’s biggest law firms, has agreed to review each individual claim along with Dublin-based Murphy Loss Assessors, with a view to taking multiple test cases against different insurers to the sector.
