A low-key but successful Irish gaming company backed by well-known names in Irish business has been sold in a multimillion deal to a New York Stock Exchange company called Bally’s Corporation, which owns and manages 11 casinos across seven states in America, as well as a horse racing track in Colorado. The deal which only closed yesterday will see SportCaller, a free-to-play game platform, become part of the $1.8 billion market capitalisation company.
