In an analysis of the High Court ruling last summer, law firm William Fry described the case as “a cautionary tale” for employers. The chief financial officer of an Irish startup, one that has raised €10 million from investors, was granted a temporary injunction in the High Court reinstating him in his job after the firm dismissed him during his probationary period.
