Just before Waterful got its new plastic-free non-chemical baby wipes on the shelves of more than 100 Tesco stores, a letter arrived from an existing player calling on it to cease production. The litigant was rival WaterWipes Unlimited, a company that alleged in the Commercial Court last Monday that the Waterful brand infringes its intellectual property rights.
