Dublin-based Banach Technology, a gambling software company founded by four former Paddy Power employees, has been sold for $43 million (€36 million) to American online bookmaker PointsBet. Banach is a business-to-business software company that creates sports betting platforms and algorithms, including in-play bets. It was founded by Rob Reck, Mark Hughes, Alex Zevenbergen and Hadrien Lepretre, all of whom helped set up the Quants division of Paddy Power, which is now Flutter Entertainment.
