In 2015 I got involved in an inexpensive horse who nevertheless managed to win two races in the space of four days, at Killarney and the Curragh, for his delighted young owners. Among the syndicate were journalist friends and the impressive Cork native Alex Zevenbergen, who had recently left Paddy Power and set up a firm called Banach Technology.
