Lachy Groom, an early employee of Stripe who is now a venture capitalist, has invested €1.25 million in Vito, a “community-first online events” venture. Vito is a sister business to online ticketing company Tito, which was co-founded by Paul Campbell and Doc Parsons. Groom was employee number 30 of Stripe and joined the business in 2012, two years after it was founded. He was head of issuing with the Collison brothers-founded business, which is today valued at €95 billion.
