Mirai Medical, a Galway based cancer treatment start-up, is leading a consortium planning to invest €7.2 million in developing a better way to treat gastrointestinal cancer, as well as potentially treating all solid tumours. The company, founded by Dr Declan Soden, is leading a group that also includes Nasdaq listed Advanced Energy and three Irish universities – NUIG, UCC and Trinity in Dublin.
