Prestigious global law firm Linklaters has elected Monaghan-born Aedamar Comiskey as its first-ever female senior partner. Her appointment was confirmed yesterday. Comiskey is currently global head of corporate at the 183-year-old London magic circle practice where she acts as the lead partner for FTSE 100 clients such as HSBC and Capita. The 54-year-old UCD Law graduate will take up her new five-year post on July 1, replacing incumbent Charlie Jacobs whom she ran against, unsuccessfully, in 2016.
