David Raethrone was on a road trip in 2014 when he stumbled across Hazelwood Demesne in Co Sligo. The Palladian mansion was built in 1725 by architect Richard Cassels for the Wynne family, but a building on the estate was eventually turned into a factory making a thread used in parachutes.
