BiaVest, the food investment vehicle founded by Hilliard Lombard and David McKernan, has invested in Irish ice-cream chain Scrumdiddly’s. The business, which was founded by Jenny and Darren McCormack, already trades in five locations including its best-known site in Dún Laoghaire. Lombard said the business planned to grow to between 10 and 15 outlets nationwide between two and three years.
