The story of Cork Plastics is a story of sustained expansion. Founded in 1961, the company moved to a new, larger premises within six years. A decade later, it moved again to a new factory. By 1999, it was operating from a purpose-built manufacturing and logistics facility in Little Island in Cork. In the decade that followed, that facility had doubled in size. Along the way, in 1991, it launched a sister company in the UK called FloPlast.
