French care giant Orpea has appointed a new board and executive team in Ireland as it gears up to expand in the nursing home sector in Ireland as well as enter other healthcare markets. The Paris-listed company is appointing a former Minister for Health Mary Harney to its board as well as John O’Dwyer, the outgoing group chief executive of the VHI.
