Giselle Makinde’s Cream of The Crop has just marked one year in business. Established during the pandemic with a “zero waste, more taste” philosophy, the entrepreneur has developed a loyal fan base among customers with a love of food and sustainability alike. From small beginnings in Makinde’s home kitchen to a shop in Dublin’s Liberties to a new base in Artane, Makinde recently participated in the Grow with Aldi programme and shows no sign of slacking on the sustainability front – swapping plastic for aluminium packaging over the next month.
