Nick Cooper is a UK lawyer who was formerly general counsel and a board director of the telecoms giant Cable & Wireless. In that role, he led the defence of a major legal action taken in 2008 by Digicel, the telecommunications company controlled by the businessman Denis O’Brien. In this case, Digicel accused Cable & Wireless of impeding its entry into the Caribbean telecoms market.
