A friend of mine, a corporate financier, told me the busiest times of the year for him are after Christmas, after Easter and after the summer holidays. He gets more calls from business owners who have decided to sell than at any other time of the year. This observation will resonate with recruiters; the volume of calls we get from candidates looking to move follows a similar pattern.
