Hotelier siblings Patrick and Paul Fitzpatrick have become embroiled in a legal dispute over the multi-million spoils of the Beacon Court Hotel in Sandyford. Patrick is suing Paul alleging that he holds 12.5 per cent of the proceeds of the sale of the hotel, estimated at €3.75 million, on trust for him under an agreement they allegedly made in May 2011. Paul Fitzpatrick, currently living in Beverly Hills, California, contends the claim is “without merit, vexatious and frivolous and may constitute an abuse of process”.
