The Galway headquartered company Bio-Medical Research Ltd (BMR) may not be a household name but its products, Slendertone and the Flex Belt, are fairly ubiquitous, as they’re sold online and in bricks and mortar stores across 20 countries globally. But despite being a “world leader” in its manufactured products, BMR has €8.6 million of overdue trade creditors and is facing insolvency.
