Having grown out of its first private equity investor, Version 1 has now grown out of its second. The acquisitive and capital-hungry north Dublin-headquartered international IT services company was acquired this week by the Swiss private equity firm Partners in a deal worth up to €800 million.  The move came just weeks after The Currency reported the business had begun a process to seek a new investor in the business.
