When Michael Boylan and two other solicitors quit the well-known medical negligence law firm Augustus Cullen Law to (ACL) set up their own practice in 2018, a legal battle broke out over clients. Augustus Cullen Law and Cullen Solicitors Services Ltd sued for breach of contract, and sought orders to stop the breakaway partners and their new practice, Michael Boylan Litigation Law Firm (MBLLF), from soliciting any of their clients.
