A Dublin software company claims it has suffered “severe loss” after it was allegedly misled in the course of a €5.5 million corporate takeover. Principal Systems Ltd, based in Ballsbridge, acquired software firms PLT Data Systems and Principal Distribution Systems (formerly Brentech) in December 2020. The business, which provides warehouse logistics systems for well known brands including Dale Farm and DHL, is now suing the two companies’ former senior management and company directors John Brennan and Mark Greene for damages alleging breach of contract, breach of warranty, negligence, breach of duty, misrepresentation and negligent misstatement.
