I want to talk about what’s happening in the United States right now. Recently, my Twitter friend Kieran Hannon expressed his shock that the US is the only developed country that doesn’t have federally mandated time off for workers.  Kieran lives in the US so he understands this, but it made me realize that maybe people in Ireland didn’t quite comprehend the extent to which America is not a developed country.
