Late last year, PizzaExpress briefed investors that it had outperformed the market in the UK thanks to better marketing and less discounting when restaurants were allowed to reopen. The British restaurant group reported revenues of £182.5 million in the nine months to September 5, adding that earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation reached £22.2 million.
