The UK bankruptcy trustee of well-known HKR architect Jerry Ryan is pursuing a claim of circa $8 million against Barry English, the multi-millionaire founder of Winthrop Engineering who has been having a bumper number of business years. The claim follows a High Court ruling in May 2019 that Ryan entered an elaborate sham deal to transfer the money, along with his middle Eastern business HKRME, to English prior to filing for insolvency in November 2012.
