Gerry Gannon is one of Ireland's most prolific housebuilders, building almost 15,000 homes in the greater Dublin area. Now his loans are being sold by Nama to a Kerry entrepreneur based in the US.
The developer Gerry Gannon agreed to sell a 41-acre site adjacent to Dublin Airport to the DAA last year. However, the deal has yet to close with the Competition and Consumer Commission escalating its investigations.
More than a decade on from the crash, property developer Gerry Gannon says he is still significantly indebted to Nama, and he now plans to put the vast car park in Santry on the market to pay down debts to the state agency.
